Here is another example of our experience solving common wear problems. This one is used everywhere from the Aggregate / Sand & Gravel to the Mining Industry.

The ends of these Manganese grizzly bars have worn away, overdue for replacement. To work harden, Manganese requires heavy impact to become wear resistant. As the rocks discharge over the grizzly into the crusher, the wear at this end has more abrasion than impact.

JADCO QT-PLUS ^® is 500 BHN target hardness throughout the steel. Delivering longer life in your equipment, meaning less downtime for frequent repairs.

To assure the mounting hole locations are accurate, we plasma cut the bars, keeping extra material in place at the end. Once bolted into place, the extra material at the crusher discharge end is cut off. This assures you never have to struggle trying to match up bolt holes. When was the last time you had replacement plates arrive with the bolt holes, ‘a ½ hole off’.
