Most Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) breaker plates, are made with AR400 steel wear plate in this application. They are happy to continue selling you these items, since most plants need to change the breakers out on a monthly basis. Because their people are used to changing out these parts every month, some never consider there are better material options available.
JADCO’s solution is to make breaker plates from CHROMEWELD ™ 600. This option delivers 3 to 5 times longer wear life than the manufacturer’s replacement components. Happy customers are our best advertising.
