- WE FIND SOMEONE THAT ALREADY KNOWS THE WAY
When we are lost, we simply need to find someone who has the knowledge or a map, so we can follow their instructions to get to where we need to go. Have we checked into who the person is or what they actually know? Instead, we trust their passion and great sounding advice. We tune out our gut instincts and buy into the idea this map will take us where we need to go.
We’ve all been burned too many times into following the ‘yellow-brick-road’ proposed by others, driven only by their own self interests.
Did they get you further down the path? More often than not, on arrival the destination looked nothing like the picture on the map.
Beware of a salesperson offering a shortcut to your destination, based only on an opinion on how to get you there.
