Today is Thursday March 16^th, 2023 and we are reviewing Excavator & Dozer applications.

This week of ConExpo-Con/Agg, we will run a daily review of the various types of construction equipment which can/do use JADCO QT Plus and our Chromeweld family of Chrome Carbide Overlay clad plates.

Excavator Applications:

Here is an AR400 bucket bottom after only 9 months working in frack sand. Notice all the waves where the thin hard area has already worn through. Remember, there are NO industry standards for AR400.

All excavator buckets encounter wear due to the heavy abrasive wear from digging. Therefore, it is essential to protect your bucket uprights.

This CAT bulldozer has had different patches applied over the years. As you can see, this blade is long overdue for updating with a proper wear plate liner.
