WHAT WE'VE DONE
OUR HISTORY
"We are the industry leader in wear and abrasion resistant steel, creating the hardest and toughest steels available. JADCO is the preferred OEM partner for wear steel for the biggest names in many industries.
BUT HOW DID WE GET HERE?
1980
JADCO was founded by Jim A. Davison on August 8th, 1980, at age 37. Coming from Ryerson Steel in Chicago, and then working with Lukens Steel, Jim developed a new hardened steel.
1995
QT-PLUS®, our high Nickel alloy steel wear resistant plate, is developed in small quantities to ensure the quality and hardness of each individual plate in our tightly controlled environment.
2003
Sam Anderson was appointed as President in 2003, and has overseen the product development, operations, and the exponential growth JADCO has experienced ever since.
2004
CHROMEWELD™, our family of clad products made exclusively in Harmony, Pennsylvania, was developed as an additional enhancement to further extend the life of our client's equipment.
2011
In 2011, our team worked hard to receive ISO 9001:2015 Certification, guaranteeing consistent quality using our unique formula specifications, and in small quantities to guarantee quality.
2016
In 2016, FLEXWEAR™ was developed using a process called "infiltration brazing" to create a metallurgical bond for parts small to large. Typical hardness of FLEXWEAR™ is 70 HRC.
2019
In 2019, we received ASME Certification, which is the clearest way to tell customers, supply chain, industry, and regulators that our company is committed to public safety and quality.
