A mining customer was using a popular heat treated wear plate for their crusher frame liners, which would WEAR OUT IN 3 TO 4 MONTHS. They could no longer ignore the downtime, replacement parts and labor costs for these crusher frame liners.
AT THE SAME PRODUCTION LEVELS, JADCO CHROMEWELD ™ 600 FRAME LINERS, HAVE LASTED OVER ONE YEAR.
Here you can see the tight hardsurfacing beads of our CHROMEWELD ™ 600 frame liners. The lifting lug welded onto the liner to lift and position the sections into place, are cut off after installing these plates. This way they do not interfere with your belting.
The CHROMEWELD ™ 600 consists of 3/8” hardfacing welded onto 3/8” base plate, stands up to the constant abuse of the 8” minus rock. In JADCO terminology, this wear plate is referred to as 3/8” on 3/8”.
Here is a listing of standard plate sizes for CHROMEWELD ™ 600. As you can see, you have a multitude of options tailor made for your specific applications.
The customer has now ordered the same CHROMEWELD ™ 600 wear plate to cover their circular, flat Distribution Plate, as shown in the first photo.
